Check-MK Mikrotik Plugin for Voltage – Temperature – Memory

I just finished to write my first SNMP check for check_mk πŸ™‚
These checks are for query mikrotik routerboard device and check status of voltage (power supply), temperature and memory.
For memory I simly edit the hr_mem check, I don’t know why but mikrotik use hrOtherDisk instead of hrRamDisk for internal ram.
I’ve also add itcm_parameters.py, it should be copied inΒ /usr/share/check_mk/web/plugins/wato to add the possibility to edit ruleset with web interface.
I’m not expert at all of python and check_mk scripts, so I hope that this would be helpful for someone and someone else can check and improve it πŸ˜‰

Hi, do you have something to check bandwidth usage on the interfaces on the Mikrotik?

Hi, how did it integrate in WATO?
I’ve tried to check the PSUs voltage but it did not work for me.
Can you describe all steps for the plugin integration with WATO?

    Thank You

Hi Robert, sorry… long time ago πŸ™‚ it was for 1.2 version of check_mk, I don’t know if it is still working πŸ™‚

In any case, copy the 3 mikrotik* file under:
      /opt/omd/versions/1.2.6p2.cre/share/check_mk/checks/
      and itcm_parameters.py under:
      /opt/omd/versions/1.2.6p2.cre/share/check_mk/web/plugins/wato/
      (adapt directory to your versione)
